It is this little lovey's 4th birthday today! (And yes, he was getting the mail for me this morning in his Jammie's). Oh how we love our Emmett! He is equal parts hilarious, maddening, considerate, temperamental, bright, feisty, snuggly, and utterly charming, and all in a darling little package. As I'm writing this, he is yelling at me from the other room: "Where ARE you??? I think I'm thirsty!! I said I'm THIRSTY!!!" Did I mention demanding? I really do love him. 😄😂🎉❤️👼👹

First day of 3rd grade for this little lovey! She's been nervous for days, but finally decided last night she was SUPER excited. She got her backpack on at 6:30am today and wouldn't take it off for anything.

Emmett is not nearly as happy as I am to be home (he just realized we aren't going back to grandma's house)! 3,476 miles, 19 days, 6 states, 2 countries, 59 relatives visited, and one dead A/C later...our epic road is over. It was amazing, hilarious, memorable, wonderful, and every other superlative I can think of...and I am SO excited to sleep in my own bed tonight. #roadtrip2014
