We've had our first lesson in pet mortality... Addy's (mostly) beloved pet guinea pig, Tiger, died peacefully on the lawn this afternoon. She cried, had her friends come over to say goodbye, and gave him a little burial. Now she's over it, and I can't hide a small amount of relief. He was sweet, but he smelled. :)
